Hello and welcome to the first post of Polygon Addict. I suppose the proper thing to do here is let you, the nonexistent reader, know what this is all about and what to expect in the future.First on the agenda, however, is a little bit of info about myself. I've been playing video games in one form or another for about 20 years now. Yes, gaming empires have risen, fallen, and sprung up anew. Technology has expanded at a rate faster than cockroaches, or rabbits, or any number of those other animals that breed really fast. So pretty much, I've played my fair share of games and platforms and now I feel sassy enough to publish my thoughts.
I play mostly computer games at the moment, but have an Xbox 360, Ps3, PS2, Wii, iPhone, and a host of emulators and handhelds at my disposal should the mood strike. (I should note, when I say at my disposal, I mean my roommate Johnny owns the next gen systems and I use them). I mostly enjoy playing RPGs (MMO style or single player) and shooters, but I'm not confined by genres, maaaaaan.
As far as what to expect on Polygon Addict? Who knows?! It's all things gaming. I plan on writing some reviews, ranting about hax, broken multiplayer mechanics, or p2p servers, posting random video game humor or cool videos, links, etc. I look forward to what I can squeeze out of my brain and onto the internet.
